Welcome To Almasoomeen Yateem Trust
Almasoomeen Yateem trust is a non-government, non-poltical voluntary organisation established purely as a reconised charitable trust with a clear aim and declared objective to serve the orphans, widows, ill, down-trodden and other needy persons irrespective of their colour, caste, religion, gender and region.
The trust came into existence in march 2005 at Masjid-e-Abu-Turab at Nabdipora after a great deal of discussions headed by very famous religious person “Alhaj Aga Syed Mustafa Rizvi”. The Trust represents the first ever voluntary organization for orphans of this kind in Jammu and Kashmir. Initially it started at Nabdipora, Zadibal seven kilometers from Lal Chowk Srinagar to help the orphans falling in the area from Narwara to Botakadal, although with very meager resources, but within a couple of years its domain widened to whole Srinagar city. It was 2007 when the board of trustees planned to construct an orphanage. The Trust gained great public respect and support in acknowledgment of social service. Thus the chairman along with other trustees selflessly visited the downtrodden communities especially orphans and widows to bring them under the umbrella of the trust. At present, the trust covers whole Kashmir valley, Kargil and Leh and provides financial support to more than 60 orphan families and runs an orphanage at Sheribhat under the name Almasoomeen Boys Hostel where it hosts 45 orphans and provides accommodation, education and playing facilities. Now the trustees plan to construct Girls Hostel in near future
